i am sarah caldwell. the 25-year-old who was acquitted of murdering her daughter was sentenced based on lying to investigators. the judge gave her the harshest sentence possible. she will stay in jail that least a little longer. we have the late-breaking details. >> both sides are ready to proceed. >> belvin perry was firm in his sentence, the maximum on each of four counts of lying to investigators. >> i will sentence you to one year in orange county jail, imposing a $1,000 fine, all four accounts to run consecutive to each other. >> belvin perry says each lie lead investigators on an expensive and unnecessary search. >> this search for her went on

jan -- john mackey, a former baltimore colts player has passed away. he played for the baltimore colts from 1963, until 1967, and also played for the san diego chargers. a spokesman for the baltimore ravens said john mackey's wife informed them of the death. he had been battling dementia. the search is on for the person who set fire to property on sparrows point in the 2600 block of sparrows point road. if you have any information, you should call baltimore county police. natural resources police say they have found the body of the a boater who went missing in the magothy river. james kane was thrown from the vote on july 4. officials say they were thrown as the vote made a sharp turn.

an armed man is still at large. state police say he attacked a speed cameras vehicle on the side of the baltimore-washington parkway, and then fled into the woods. jennifer franciotti has those details. >> a bizarre incident near the bwi exit at 195 had the interstate shut down for hours. a man walked out of the woods, and on to the parkway, holding a hammer in one hand, and a shotgun in another. in forced -- he approached this speed informed the judge speed- enforcement vehicle the operator says he started the attack by tapping on the back window. >> he was frightened at that point. the individual came around and began striking the when chilled carrot >> you can see the windshield damage on the left part of your screen.

park are off limits this morning as officials investigate a rare grizzly bear attack. a man was mauled to death by a grizzly bear near cannes in the village. the bear and then went after the wife who was laying down and playing dead. officials believe the bear was a mother, trying to protect her cubs. although they are relatively rare, yellowstone is warning visitors to keep a distance and carry pepper spray. in the days of digital, many of us have turned in pens and pencils for keyboards. the indiana school system has decided it will no longer be a requirement to learn curses. students will be required to take keyboard class's. facebook is entering the world of digital check. we will explain.

about storm's being likely in the area. because of the moisture in the atmosphere, they could bring heavy downpours. here is a look at the futurecast. around two o'clock p.m., and noticed the scattering of showers and storms. that could trickle down into baltimore and into the eastern shore. we have a possibility of storms into the evening hours, which is a problem on the roadways. things will change drastically into tomorrow. showers and storms could be likely are around 2:00 p.m., and heavy downpours will be the biggest concern. that could cause problems for the friday afternoon to meet. let's look at the forecast, day- by-day. we are expecting temperatures to approach the 94 degree mark. that is not too far off from
